The three year full-time MCA course has a strong focus on practical application as well as mathematical basis . It is a transformation  course designed to equip graduates for employment in enterprises, applying information technology either in production or in administrative and financial environment. Core computer science courses are combined with applications of commercial interest to make them relevant to immediate industries needs. Both in-house and external experts from the industries have been meticulously mobilized to share their expertise.

One of the highlights of  the MCA course is final semester projects. Over a six-month period students go through the full software  lifecycle , developing an application for an industry. This full time industry project experience invests students with confidence, knowledge and insight  into real-life work situation.
