About the Electronics and Communication Engineering

Electronics and Communication Engineering Department of RKGIT works strongly to emphasis the fundamentals of the Electronics & Communication Technology, so that the students are introduced to complex subject in an interesting and easy manner. The Department provides the advanced courses in Communication Engineering, Microwave & Antenna Engineering, VLSI Design, Digital/Analog Integrated Circuit etc. Technical trips to several Industries, Industrial training and expert talks on the emerging technologies are organized to make the students aware about the latest advancement in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering. The department always encourages the students to be an entrepreneur. In this regard the department organizes several Entrepreneurship awareness program.
It has several laboratories to give hands on exposure to the young undergraduate engineers. The department also has library with a collection of referenced technical books.

Prof. (Dr.) Dhirendra Kumar

(HOD, ECE)

Prof. (Dr.) Dhirendra Kumar (MIEEE) (MIEEE) received his ME (Electronics & Communication Engineering) and Ph.D. (ECE) from Delhi College of Engineering, Faculty of Technology, University of Delhi. His work experience in Teaching and Industry is appreciable. He has published /presented several International Journal & Conference research works. He has guided number of students for M.Tech and B.Tech projects and he is guiding students for Ph.D. His work on Entrepreneurship Development and Industry Interaction is considerable. His area of research is Microwave Technology and Antenna Engineering.

I take the privilege to welcome you all to the Dept. of ECE at Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad. The department seeks to combine excellence in education and research with service to the industry. The Department encourages active participation of the budding engineers.

The journals from societies IEEE are subscribed and guest lectures by people of high repute from academics and industry are organized frequently in order to empower students' knowledge base.

A Competitive environment is fostered and development of leadership skills and team skills are also encouraged by means of the departmental societies which holds various quizzes and contests from time to time to bring out hidden talents.

As HOD, I wish to take this opportunity to assure you that I will try my best to maximize student participation in the department and will keep the administration transparent.
