Electrical & Electronics Engineering

About Department

Our course in Electrical & Electronics Engineering makes our students ready to meet the challenges of the existing and upcoming Electrical world. During the course, the students are not only well exposed to the theoretical and practical aspects of EEE but are also incorporated with new technologies, software, and applications in various essential domains of EEE like Automation and robotics, Development Organization, Electric Vehicles, Embedded system, IoT, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, etc. This will help to build critical and dynamic thinking in students which in turn opens avenues of career options in extensive fields around the globe as mentioned below. With a strong and determined vision to create technocrats who can build, innovate, and illuminate the world together, the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering is at the forefront of practical knowledge. The Alumni of the Department play leading roles with their technical skills and critical thinking and guiding the students in their career success. It emerged as an identifiable occupation in the latter half of the 19th century after the commercialization of the electric telegraph, the telephone, and electrical power generation, distribution, and use. The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering is committed to fostering a creative and innovative research environment and enjoys the full patronage of the Chairman, Vice-Chairman, and the Director of the Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology (RKGIT) where it is housed presently.

About the Programme

B. Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering is a four-year undergraduate program that provides students with the ability to design a hardware/software system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints. After the successful completion of the program, a student will be able to function in multidisciplinary teams, formulate, and solve engineering problems, and design & compare solutions, algorithms, and protocols. The program emphasizes Digital Transformation Technologies and focuses on building the mathematical and algorithmic concepts of the students.

The curriculum includes knowledge of the operating system, programming language, database, Networking, Software Testing, Software Development, Frontend, Software Development backend, Network Design, Network Management, Database Administration, Data Analytics, Software Testing and Maintenance, System Software Development, etc.

The program is designed with strong industry linkage to make students industry-ready and offer students adequate flexibility to pursue electives and projects of their choice.
