Project Based Learning

Innovation comes when we start rethinking what is taught, how is taught, and how learning is assessed. Innovative learning means a lot, and it all comes down to the people – the learner and the teacher. Let’s all help to learn to innovate by innovating learning.

Project-based innovation

To build expertise in engineering concepts the faculties have motivated the students and given them sufficient time to search few smart project ideas and discuss them with them. In return, students come up with brilliant upcoming ideas. The department has provided them with all the required space and technical support. With the help of faculty knowledge and the hard work done together results.

A few versatile 2023-24 major projects are listed below:

  • 1-Fruit detection system using Raspberry PI
  • 2-Anti Sleep Detection system
  • 3-patient health monitoring system based on IoT and GSM
  • 4-IoT-based Automatic Damaged street light fault detection management system
  • 5-Bone fracture detection using Deep Learning
  • 6-Bomb Displacing Robot with Wireless Video Camera
  • 7-Solar Based mobile power filer with wireless connectivity
  • 8-Real Time smart water management system using IoT
  • 9-Patient helping robot mobile operated

Fruit detection system using Raspberry PI

Here, CNN algorithm (Convolutional Neural Network) is used to train the Machine learning model. A Raspberry Pi camera is used to capture an image of particular fruits then the trained model detects the quality of fruits and sorts them accordingly as fresh fruit or rotten fruit.

Anti Sleep Detection system

This device uses advanced sensors to monitor a driver's condition, detecting early signs of fatigue through head position and eye movement changes.

Patient health monitoring system based on IoT and GSM

For this system, we used an AVR Family Microcontroller which is interfaced with LCD display, heartbeat sensor, and temperature sensor. The GSM-based Patient health monitoring system works with a GSM modem to send the data remotely to the registered number, the system is powered by a 12V transformer

IoT based Automatic Damaged street light fault detection management system

in this system, it checks whether the street light is ON/ OFF. The LDR sensor will ON/OFF the street lights automatically, based on the condition of the weather.

Bomb Displacing Robot with Wireless Video Camera

In this project, we propose a wireless bomb disposal robot that would use a wireless system at the user end to control the robot.
wireless video receiver which receives video signal from the wireless camera. The wireless camera is said to be placed in the robot near the arm.
